AudioOut Recorder collects no data. It has no account system, no analytics, no advertising, and no network connections. Nothing you record ever leaves your Mac.
When you start a recording, the app captures your Mac's system audio output and writes it to an .m4a file on your Desktop. These recordings are stored only on your computer, under your control. The developer never receives, transmits, or has any access to them.
The app requests the macOS Screen Recording permission. On macOS this permission is required to reach the system audio stream. AudioOut Recorder uses it only to capture audio. It does not record video or screen content, and it does not use the microphone.
None. The app does not collect, store, or share any personal data, usage data, or identifiers. Because no data is collected, there is nothing to sell, share, or request deletion of.
